About the Role

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations according to established protocols and procedures.
  • Verify patient identification and medical history before each examination.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Ultrasound Technology or a related field.
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Two years of experience in ultrasound preferred.
