Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Ensure guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including shower areas, toilets, sinks, and fixtures, to guarantee they are immaculate and well-equipped with amenities.
- Room Preparation: Replace towels, linens, and other room essentials with fresh, high-quality items to provide guests with a luxurious experience.
- Storage and Organization: Maintain exceptional standards for cleanliness and organization in storage areas like linen closets, supply rooms, and housekeeping carts.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the maintenance team to promptly report any maintenance issues or repairs needed in guest rooms or public areas. Provide outstanding customer service by promptly responding to guest requests and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Physical Demands: Must be capable of handling a fully loaded housekeeping cart weighing up to 50 lbs. on inclines both up and down. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift is required.
- Physical Abilities: Some cleaning duties, like scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, and bed-making, may involve repetitive motions. Should be able to bend down, kneel, and stand up frequently throughout the day. Required to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Availability: Weekends and Early Morning Shifts
Lodge at Marconi is a secluded 45-room hotel and event destination perched in the hills above Tomales Bay. We are operated by Oliver Hospitality, which was founded on the idea that old and new properties alike could be reworked into engaging and thoughtful spaces.
