We are seeking a highly skilled Toolroom Supervisor to join our team at CI – The Manufacturing Career HUB. As a Toolroom Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the toolroom, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and that production schedules are met.

• Administration: Administer Zierick Manufacturing Corporation policies and practices, participate in meetings, and set departmental goals.
• Work with Plant Manager: Determine labor requirements, prepare departmental budgets, control expenditures, conduct annual performance reviews, recruit, train, and counsel employees, and administer apprenticeship programs.
• Job-Specific Responsibilities: Repair, modify, build, and set dies, work with the Press Room Supervisor to schedule work orders, troubleshoot problems, administer machine maintenance programs, and support tooling needs of other departments.

• Understanding of tool maintenance and spare component needs.
• Ability to work with Chief Engineer to learn tool design.
• Organizing prints and making them accessible to toolmakers.
• Documenting changeovers and creating inventory of spare parts.
• Reassigning and teaching other toolmakers to work on specific tools.
• Managing toolroom time sheets.
