**Assist Patients with Therapy Activities**

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to assist patients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with therapy activities and exercises to improve their quality of life and ability to perform daily activities.
  • Monitor and record therapy services to patients with physical, cognitive, developmental impairments.
  • Implement and modify therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with patient goals and practice setting requirements.
  • Exchange information with physical therapists about patient responses to interventions.
  • Responsible for being knowledgeable about patient targeted physical therapy outcomes and providing information related to outcome achievement.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
  • Graduate through an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
