The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in advancing our academic mission and providing exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive histories and physical exams, identifying normal and abnormal findings.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Develop dosimetric plans and document prescriptions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Educate patients on disease and treatment plans.
- Perform procedures as trained and appropriately credentialed.
- Document within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and complete other necessary documents.
- Collaborate and/or consult with physicians and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
- Educate, counsel, and assist patients and families regarding current health problems, health maintenance activities, and preventive behaviors.
- Medical Degree and Graduation from Accredited Radiation Oncology Residency.
- Must be board certified or eligible by American Board of Radiology within 3 years of date of hire.
- Eligible for full, unrestricted licensure in Wisconsin.
