Job Summary:

Rewind Specialist

Fortis Solutions Group is seeking a Rewind Specialist to join our production team. As a Rewind Specialist, you will be responsible for operating a rewind machine to break down large rolls into smaller rolls according to customer specifications.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Set up the rewind machine with blades, cores, and copy position according to job work instructions.
  2. Operate the machine to break down large rolls into finished customer rolls.
  3. Verify core IDs for the finished rolls and place them inside and outside of the roll, following verification by the supervisor that the Core ID is correct.
  4. Communicate with Shift Supervisor, Production Manager, and/or Scheduler regarding issues with the label, including over or under runs, label quality, or ID number questions.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of previous machine operation experience. Printing related production experience preferred.

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time position with benefits.
