Job Summary

The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiology Physician to serve as the Chief of the Diagnostic Imaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Diagnostic Imaging Department and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance metrics to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Assign radiologists to duties based on their training and experience.
  • Develop and adhere to standard procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor activities to improve patient safety, performance, and quality.
  • Maintain a safe medical imaging environment.
  • Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality of patient medical information.
  • Ensure accurate CPT coding and assignment of workload.
Requirements
  • Must be a licensed, board eligible Diagnostic Radiologist.
  • Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
