Become a Key Player as a Signal Integrity Specialist
Ampere Computing is on the lookout for a dedicated Signal Integrity Specialist to join our Hardware Design Engineering team. This role involves collaborating on the development of cutting-edge solutions for high-bandwidth, connectivity-driven multi-core processor products, necessitating the integrated design of silicon, packaging, and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Key Responsibilities:- Design, simulate, and validate advanced interconnect and power delivery systems in partnership with chip, package, and PCB designers.
- Create layout guidelines for packages and PCBs, and deliver SI/PI documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
- At least 5 years of pertinent experience in the field.
- Proven expertise in crafting high-performance signal interconnect and power delivery systems.
- Strong understanding of transmission line and electromagnetic principles related to signal integrity and power integrity.
- Familiarity with simulation tools and methodologies such as HFSS, SIWave, and PowerSI.
- Knowledge of various equalization techniques and link timing budgeting.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
