Job Summary

C&W Services is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, providing exceptional customer service to our residents, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preventative Maintenance
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  • Emergency Response
    • Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Provide emergency assistance to residents and staff as needed.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff, responding to their maintenance requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure their needs are met.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for staff and residents.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Trade or technical certification preferred.
  • Experience
    • 3+ years of experience in maintenance or facilities management.
    • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
    • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights.

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to travel from floor to floor, climb stairs, and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.
