Position Overview:


Accountable for the successful execution of live performances and events by managing the technical components associated with production.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the loading and unloading of musical and rental equipment.
  • Ensures the acquisition of necessary passes and tickets, and organizes guest lists under the guidance of the Stage Manager.
  • Assists with cabling and supports the audio and lighting teams as instructed.
  • Manages band transitions during set changes.
  • Guarantees that band members have all essential items for their performances.
  • Communicates event specifics to the production team.
  • Oversees the installation of show banners and updates signage within the venue.
  • Coordinates catering for the band in the performance area.
  • Provides assistance to the lighting and audio teams as directed by the Stage Manager or Production Manager; operates spotlight as needed.
  • Maintains and repairs sound, lighting, and staging equipment.
  • May support the Stage Manager with show passes.
  • Secures and maintains backline equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures the upkeep of curtains, drapes, risers, and other staging materials.
  • Assists audio personnel with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
  • Supports lighting personnel with fixtures, lamps, gels, cabling, and spotlight operation.
  • Operates and maintains stage areas in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Assists with operations for special events.
  • Ensures stage cleanliness by removing trash and preparing for subsequent shows when feasible.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in tour and stage production.
  • Proficient in stage lighting, professional audio systems, and basic video systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Competence in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College Degree.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs using appropriate lifting techniques.
  • Work in an environment with moderate to high noise levels.
