Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Signals Processing Support and Management Specialist to collaborate with our team of media analysts at the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) with DIA. This role involves detecting unique features and signatures tied to sources, emitters, or senders to address intelligence inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement signal optimization techniques to enhance audio and video analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital media forensic processes and methodologies.
- Conduct technical report writing, editing, and peer review to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide expert-level support for signals processing, computer vision, and rapid prototyping.
Requirements
- Active/current TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in signals processing, computer vision, rapid prototyping, and integration.
- BA/BS degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Strong understanding of digital media forensic processes and methodologies.
- Excellent technical report writing, editing, and peer review skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in multimedia processing equivalent to LEVA Forensic Video Technician Certification.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, or related discipline.
Desirable Skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for various audiences.
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with IC reporting and databases.
- Commitment to continuous learning in audio and video technologies.
- Proficiency in a foreign language.
