Job Summary

The ACCS Clinician plays a vital role in facilitating individuals' personal growth and recovery from mental health challenges. This position requires a clinical expert who can provide support and supervision to the team, while working closely with program participants and outreach staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with participants within required timeframes to provide clinical expertise and support.
  • Collaborate with other service providers and DMH staff to coordinate treatment and case management of program participants.
  • Complete required paperwork within specified timeframes, including initial intakes, Comprehensive Assessments, Individual Action Plans, quarterly and annual reviews, Safety and Wellbeing-Check Plans, Risk Management Plans, and Discharge Summaries.
  • Provide ongoing training on evidence-based practices to all staff.
  • Using a strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach, work with individuals to create a treatment plan, identifying specific goals, objectives, and interventions to guide service provision.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
  • Clinical Master's degree.
  • Massachusetts clinical license or license-eligible required (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC-1, ABA, etc.).
  • Experience providing clinical and recovery services to individuals with mental illness.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; self-motivated.
  • Ability to complete clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Good organizational, communication, and writing skills.
  • Substance abuse clinical experience.
