Cardiovascular Interventionalist

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Magnet Medical in Lawrence, Kansas.

This 12-week travel assignment offers a tax-free stipend amount and a competitive pay package based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.

• Prepare the cath lab environment for procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and tools are sterile, functional, and properly set up.
• Verify patient information, including medical history, allergies, and consent forms, before the procedure begins.
• Assist in the preparation of patients, including setting up the monitoring equipment and ensuring proper positioning for optimal procedure results.
• Provide patient education and reassurance before the procedure, explaining what will happen and answering any questions.
• Assist cardiologists and other physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiological studies, and other interventional procedures.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong technical skills and experience working in a fast-paced medical environment. A strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and technologies is essential.
