Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts thorough patient evaluations to assess health status.
- Orders necessary laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic assessments.
- Identifies health issues and formulates treatment plans based on collected data.
- Prescribes medications and initiates treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Performs standard medical procedures, including injections, immunizations, and wound care.
- Provides patient education regarding treatment plans and prescribed medications.
Reporting Structure: The Nurse Practitioner will report directly to the supervising physician and the Operations Manager of Practice Management.
Physical Demands: This role may involve various physical demands and respiratory fit test requirements. For further details, please refer to the Physical Demands Project SharePoint site or contact Risk Management/Employee Health. The position entails potential exposure to infections, communicable diseases, and hazardous materials. Adherence to standard precautions is mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Effective communication skills in English.
