Cardiology Medical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Medical Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
Salary Information:
Competitive salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 per year
About the Job:
This role will involve working on our 3 West unit, where you will provide high-quality care to cardiac interventional patients, including those undergoing TAVRs, Mitral Clips, Ablations, Caths, Stemi/Nstemi patients, and more. You will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient-centered care and is committed to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions for cardiac patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and effective coordination of care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a positive and supportive work environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cardiology and medical-surgical nursing.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with 12 months of recent experience within the past five years.
- Current unencumbered nursing license in Georgia or eligibility for temporary permit from the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS certification required; ACLS may be required in designated departments.
