Position Overview: We are looking for a qualified Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician for a contract role. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 1+ years of experience in an IR laboratory environment, demonstrating proficiency in performing interventional radiology procedures and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support radiologists and other medical practitioners during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
  • Prepare and manage the necessary imaging equipment for procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and other minimally invasive techniques.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the procedures.
  • Maintain precise patient documentation and records of all procedures performed.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and standards, including protocols for radiation safety.
  • Provide patients with post-procedural care instructions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Appropriate certification and licensure as mandated by the state.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong technical capabilities in operating interventional radiology equipment.
