About the Role

The Ambulatory Triage Registered Nurse will be responsible for conducting phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, prescription refills, referrals, care coordination, and other related tasks as needed. This role requires excellent communication and team skills, as well as a compassionate and caring approach to patient care.

Requirements
  • Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited school of nursing or three years of related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana.
  • One year or more of nursing experience required.
  • Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred.
  • Phone triage experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and team skills.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to patient care.
  • Accountable and self-directed.
  • EPIC experience a plus.
