Veterans Disability Assessment Specialist

Salary: Estimated $80-$120 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically and conduct comprehensive assessments in person on each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure Web Portal. The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; instead, you will provide findings recorded in the DBQs for the U.S. Veterans Administration to consider.
This position involves performing Disability Assessments on Veterans only and does not require treating or prescribing medication. You will assess an average of 4 Veterans per day.
The ideal candidate will be brought on as an Independent Contractor, working Part-Time (2-3 days/week) or Full-Time.
Requirements:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program/school
- An active & unrestricted Psychology license
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
