About Us: S3 Connections LLC is seeking to enhance our dedicated Neonatology team, focused on delivering exceptional care to newborns and their families. We are committed to providing comprehensive Level III neonatology services in a supportive suburban environment.
Position Overview:
- Team Structure: Comprising 5 NNPs, 2 Pediatricians, PNPs, and 4 board-certified neonatologists, with plans to expand to over 8 NNPs.
- Coverage: Continuous 24/7 coverage across multiple hospital facilities.
- Shifts: 24-hour shifts, with an expectation of 7-8 shifts monthly.
- Support Services:
- Access to a dedicated NICU pharmacy, nutrition specialists, physical and occupational therapy for developmental support, speech therapy for feeding, and NICU milk preparation at both facilities.
- Collaboration with pediatric sub-specialists, including cardiology, neurology (remote EEG), ophthalmology, and pediatric radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care within the NICU and Newborn Nursery.
- Provide flexible scheduling by working across both hospital sites.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
- Certification: Current APRN National Specialty Certification – Board Certified NNP (other NP certifications such as PAs, FNPs, or PNPs are not acceptable).
- License: Valid Georgia nursing license (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a NNP preferred (excluding RN experience).
- Residency in the local area is required; relocation may be necessary.
- We are not considering Locums candidates.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
