Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary

This role is responsible for supporting the administrative and cycle count duties of the total department. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, a team player, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand systems and processes of all internal operations and the dynamics of all material movement within the facility.
  • Accurately identify product and packaging dynamics.
  • Identify conditions within the facility that are contributing to inventory inaccuracies.
  • Use RF equipment to complete cycle counts.
  • Identify mistakes/inconsistencies that may affect the overall accuracy of the inventory and report findings to supervisor.
  • Understand and implement appropriate safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge/understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required. Some college experience preferred.
Work Environment

Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people, and conveyor. Work conditions are typical of an office and plant environment. This role does not require any domestic travel. Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 50 pounds. Position may require frequent and/or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use of hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls, and standing/walking on concrete flooring. Position may require the physical ability to stand/walk for greater than 4 hours.
