About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cafe Associate to join our team at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. in Brooklyn, OH. As a Cafe Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and served to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve a variety of food products, including hot and cold items, to meet the needs of our members.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, adhering to food safety standards and quality control guidelines to ensure the highest quality products are served.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and support the overall success of the cafe.
Requirements
  • Food Service Experience: 1+ year of experience in a food service environment, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification, such as Food Handler Certification.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and members.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
