Portfolio Assistant

First Montana Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Assistant to join our team at our Anaconda branch. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for providing senior sales, servicing, and administrative support to business development and loan officers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare loan documents, including notes, financing statements, and security agreements, and ensure proper public filing and recording of such documents.
• Monitor and implement the preparation of input forms for loans, commitments, and repayment schedules, and review daily computer reports and billing notices to monitor activity and correctness of information.
• Manage loan files and filing systems, and keep records up-to-date and in order.
• Provide day-to-day maintenance of the Bank's flooring and rental lines, including flooring or renting new vehicles, payoffs, balancing, and issuing interest/curtailment billings.
• Assist customers with banking problems, products, or services, and cross-sell available banking services to existing and prospective customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including serving as back-up for new accounts, performing general secretarial duties, and attending and participating in staff meetings and presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in commercial banking.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to be bonded.
• Notary Public.

Work Environment:

The employee will not be exposed to any workplace environmental conditions that are not normally encountered in any other office setting.
