Courier PT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Courier PT to join our team at Sonic Healthcare. As a Courier PT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of medical specimens and reports between laboratories and healthcare provider locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport medical specimens and reports between laboratories and healthcare provider locations
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle
• Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and excellent driving record for the past three years
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience operating conventional vehicles for business purposes
• Knowledge of medical terminology
