Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for managing site processes and productivity to optimize efficiency, product cost, quality, capacity utilization, and operability of production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site processes and productivity to optimize efficiency, product cost, quality, capacity utilization, and operability of production processes.
  • Lead Capital Expenditure projects and serve as the process expert for all manufacturing processes on-site.
  • Identify, initiate, and lead projects to improve process safety, quality, service, cost, capacity, and productivity through Engineering and Continuous Improvement methods.
  • Work with various functions to identify and transfer processes/products into the site to balance capacity utilization.
  • Direct activities to ensure approved products and projects are introduced on time, working with internal maintenance teams and outside contractor partners as required.
  • Ensure new production processes are implemented in compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations, cost control, waste reduction, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot defects and variation, analyze root cause, apply systematic problem-solving techniques, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Engage in daily operations to resolve equipment downtime issues, assure quality and productivity, and meet service targets.
  • Create and maintain product/process documentation, including specifications, test methods, and change management documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Five years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Physical demands and work environment require an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Training and experience in Continuous Improvement methods, statistics, and designed experiments.
  • Demonstrated capability and knowledge of Equipment Reliability concepts and methods.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and remain flexible to changes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated project leadership experience, teamwork, and communication skills.
