We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lab Technician to join our team at APR Consulting, Inc. in a contract position.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory maintenance, testing, and analysis on various projects. This will involve working with customer-side-of-meter equipment, including advanced air conditioning systems and heat pump water heaters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory maintenance, testing, and analysis on various projects.
  • Work with customer-side-of-meter equipment, including advanced air conditioning systems and heat pump water heaters.
  • Use laboratory tools and equipment, including hand-held manual or power tools, and machine tools.
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory test equipment, including instrumentation and sensors.
  • Set up and perform maintenance on various types of laboratory tools and testing equipment.
  • Document work performed and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate results and problems effectively to team members.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in laboratory settings, preferably in mechanical, chemical, biological, or food processing labs.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory test equipment, instrumentation, and sensors.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and thermal systems.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a laboratory environment.
