We are seeking a committed Senior Procurement Manager to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with formulating sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, and nurturing supplier relationships. Collaboration with internal teams will be essential to ensure efficient procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient sourcing strategies
  • Monitor market dynamics and address supply chain challenges
  • Engage with project leaders and stakeholders
  • Oversee and mentor Purchasing Clerks in their professional growth
  • Facilitate vendor onboarding and manage contract negotiations
  • Comply with organizational policies and procedures
  • Adapt to new responsibilities as required
Essential Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Minimum of 5 years in procurement or a related academic background
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as necessary

Desirable:

  • Experience in the scrap recycling or manufacturing sectors
  • Familiarity with contract management services
