We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Special Education Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Staffing Connection Inc. in a key role that requires a strong understanding of special education roles and the skills required for success in these positions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Source and identify potential candidates for special education roles, including teachers, aides, and behavioral specialists, through various recruitment channels and strategies.
- Conduct thorough interviews and evaluations to ensure candidates meet the qualifications and requirements for special education positions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, districts, and other educational institutions to understand staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate outreach, interviews, offer negotiation, and onboarding, to ensure seamless placements.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and job fairs to attract top talent in the special education field and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client databases to ensure efficient and effective recruitment processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful placements and ongoing support for clients and candidates, driving business growth and client satisfaction.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the education or special education sectors, with a strong track record of successful placements.
- Deep understanding of special education roles, including teachers, aides, and behavioral specialists, and the skills required for success in these positions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other software applications to streamline recruitment processes.
