Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a registered Radiologic Technologist with experience in two or more of the following modalities: CT, Ultra Sonography, Mammography, MR, or Nuclear Medicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Assist in the primary mission of the medical imaging department by ensuring proper diagnostic information is provided through high-quality scans, protocol adherence, and excellent patient care
  • Perform clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and other duties as needed
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiation protection programs, including ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable)
  • Follow all regulatory compliance for DHEC, Joint Commission, ACR, and other governing agencies
  • May include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • Experience in Medical Imaging, preferably with clinical hours from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
