We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas Sleep Centers. As a key member of our sleep center team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sleep studies and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Conduct basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies to identify sleep disorders.
- Prepare patients and equipment for testing, and interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues.
- Perform and document testing, and monitor patients throughout the testing process.
- Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
- Score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies.
- Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst credentialing from the Tennessee Polysomnography Professional Standards Committee within 12 months of hire date.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
