Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a Cardiovascular Technologist II to contribute to our dedicated team. In this role, you will assist in cardiac catheterization and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will also perform emergency procedures related to catheterization, such as IAB and temporary pacer insertion, under the guidance of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Recognizing and addressing potential patient issues while collecting accurate data.
- Prioritizing patient care and diagnostic activities based on precise patient information.
- Demonstrating knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, including specific conditions and treatment therapies.
- Assisting in data collection related to cardiovascular and other vital statuses.
- Documenting findings and reporting any abnormal results to the physician.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent certification.
- Two years of experience in a licensed field, with at least one year in a cardiac cath lab.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
