Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and being the face of our company. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping people and have a drive for service.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Prepare and process specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information into our system in an accurate and timely manner
  • Process billing information and collect payments when required
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
