Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Damage Restoration Specialist to join our team at SERVPRO of Kansas City Midtown. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for restoring properties damaged by fire, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per yearResponsibilities:
  • Pack-Out Services: Coordinate and perform the professional pack-out of items damaged by fire, including furniture, clothing, electronics, and personal belongings.
  • Inventory Management: Carefully document and track all items removed from properties, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation throughout the restoration process.
  • Cleaning and Restoration: Conduct thorough cleaning and deodorization of fire-damaged properties using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
  • Contaminant Removal: Efficiently remove soot, smoke residue, and other fire-related contaminants from surfaces, walls, ceilings, and fixtures.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in fire damage restoration preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in fire pack-out services, fire cleaning, and restoration techniques preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately inventory and document packed-out items.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with property owners, insurance adjusters, and team members.
