The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conducting routine inspections and performing preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Developing and implementing solutions to improve equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve mechanical issues and improve overall plant efficiency.
- High school degree and technical/vocational certification.
- Minimum of five years of experience in electrical and mechanical systems maintenance in food manufacturing.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including basic PLC, servo driver, and servo motor errors.
- Experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer control skills.
- Sanitary fabrication skills.
- Familiarity with food safety and good manufacturing practices.
- Ability to use a wide variety of workshop tools, including milling, welding, and lathe.
- Ability to effectively execute on preventive maintenance tasks and schedules.
Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $50,000 per year.
