Job Title: Behavioral Health ER Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health ER team at HCA South Atlantic Division. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health ER Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care. This includes managing the efficient flow of patients, instructing patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, and maintaining and reviewing patients' records.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of the team
  • Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, and arranging or testing and admissions
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
  • Incorporate knowledge of patient's age-specific development and cultural diversity into the plan of care
Requirements:
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
  • 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse is preferred
  • Behavioral Health Experience is preferred
  • CPI – Must be completed within 90 days of hire
