Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct cardiopulmonary stress testing and physiological evaluations to assess patient health and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze external cardiac data and assist in the management of implantable devices, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement personalized exercise plans for patients, taking into account their age, culture, and orthopedic considerations.
  • Provide patient education on heart-healthy lifestyle choices, including counseling and teaching on principles of a healthy lifestyle.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • Preferred Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Health Science, or a related field.
  • Less than 2 years of relevant experience in conducting graded exercise testing, cardiovascular physiology, risk factor identification/modification, and basic electrocardiogram (EKG) knowledge.
