Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Hyperbaric Technician, you will work under the guidance of the Director of the Wound Healing Center, collaborating with charge nurses and hyperbaric physicians. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting diagnostic testing and providing direct care to patients in the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Wound Healing Center.
  • Planning and administering treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Demonstrating critical thinking and leadership skills in patient care planning.
  • Educating patients and their families about treatment procedures, risks, and benefits.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • Certification as a Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) or relevant work experience in the field.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
