Ascension St. Vincent Micro Hospital Indy South is seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.

Job Summary

We are committed to providing high-quality patient care and are looking for a dedicated individual to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, monitoring patient condition and recording progress as needed.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare teams.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure smooth transitions.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or equivalent professional licensure at time of hire required.

Estimated Salary: $63,000 - $83,000 per year
