Surgical Technologist

The Surgical Technician is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in the operating room. As a Surgical Technician, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning and draping
- Help maintain a sterile environment in the operating room, including handling and processing surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, as needed
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies in the operating room
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and coordination
To be successful as a Surgical Technician, you will need:
- A high school diploma and completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- One or more years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting
- BLS certification and CST certification
