Lead Emergency Veterinarian Opportunity

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Emergency Veterinarian to join our team in Clearwater, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the chief champion of guest service, ensuring an optimal experience for patients and their owners in the emergency department.
  • Liaise between the emergency team and other hospital services to facilitate seamless interactions and support hospitalized pets.
  • Review and address referral partner complaints to maintain strong relationships and optimal support.
  • Coordinate and generate the ER doctor schedule to ensure adequate coverage and approve/review PTO requests.
  • Oversee the level of medical care provided by emergency clinicians and address issues with support from administrators.
  • Assist in the interview process for new doctors and participate in their onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Support the training of emergency trainees, including mentoring, correction, and addressing issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between the ER team and administration/purchasing to ensure appropriate supplies and medications are available.

Requirements:
  • Active Florida Veterinary license in good standing.
  • Veterinary Degree from an accredited college or university.
