Salary Range:
The salary is determined by rank and step at appointment, with the possibility of off-scale salaries to meet competitive conditions. A reasonable estimate for a full-time position is approximately $115,300.
Percent Time:
Variable (0-100%), with the percentage of time depending on the level of engagement in research, teaching, and service activities.
Position Duration:
Appointments are typically made as fiscal year, term appointments.
Application Requirements:
Applications are invited for an ongoing pool of assistant adjunct professors and associate adjunct professors in the Technology and Information Management Program under the Baskin School of Engineering. Candidates are expected to engage in research, teaching, and service to the university and the public.
Adjunct faculty members may include academic scholars affiliated with other institutions or distinguished professional practitioners, fostering collaboration between the university and industry or other academic entities.
Current Subject Matter Areas:
Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, product management, product development, innovation and entrepreneurship, supply chain management, financial engineering, operations research, information technology, software engineering, data mining, information retrieval, and machine learning.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Ph.D. (or equivalent foreign degree) in a relevant field such as computer science, economics, electrical engineering, industrial and systems engineering, operations research, management, or statistics. A demonstrated record of research and teaching is required.
