Job Title: MRI Technologist

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center Main Hosp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate MRI Technologist to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures, adhering to quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible with completing of registry within 12 months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or by American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
