Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and maintains documentation for shipped products and monitors shipment statuses.
  • Receives incoming materials, unpacks shipments, and verifies goods against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Confirms the quantity, weight, and compliance of materials with specified identifications.
  • Maintains records of received items, processes freight bills, packing lists, and related documentation.
  • Organizes and distributes materials within inventory and on the receiving line.
  • Handles heavy items and operates material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and forklifts, upon obtaining internal certification.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of material handling protocols and Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
  • May engage in crate shop activities, including operating power saws and nail guns for constructing skids and crates.
  • Exhibits a quality-conscious mindset with precise counting skills.
  • Displays flexibility in adapting to changing priorities.
  • Maintains a strong focus on customer service.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work any shift and overtime as required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary education with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience with BSI transactions.
  • Proficient in computer operations with SAP experience.
  • Familiarity with DV8R forklift operations.
  • On-call availability is essential.
  • Ability to accommodate short notice travel requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
