Key Responsibilities

  • Establishes a comprehensive inventory tracking system to document incoming shipments and operational supply purchases.
  • Recruits and leads a team of inventory specialists, encompassing roles in receiving, purchasing, fulfillment, and transportation.
  • Conducts regular inventory cycle counts on supplies and finished goods, ensuring thorough analysis and reconciliation.
  • Performs daily and weekly inventory audits to align physical stock with internal tracking systems.
  • Collaborates with operational teams to guarantee that weekly stock levels are maintained, organized, and updated.
  • Manages internal inventory transfers to uphold quality control, compliance with regulations, and accurate physical counts.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of state regulations regarding medical marijuana.
  • Implements an order fulfillment process to receive, schedule, package, and prepare orders for dispatch.
  • Works closely with the sales team to ensure the seamless execution of all incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Facilitates inventory meetings to ensure that packaging supplies and finished products consistently meet market demand.
  • Coordinates with accounts payable and compliance teams on any invoicing or order discrepancies that require investigation.
  • Oversees all facets of product packaging inventory, including ordering, auditing, and forecasting.
  • Minimizes losses through strategic ordering and waste identification.
  • Trains both new and existing staff on essential job functions.
  • Manages employee attendance and performance metrics.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to obtain a state medical marijuana badge and pass a background check.
  • Effective communication skills with the Good Day Farm team.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrates strong ethics and reliability.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with data entry software (e.g., Excel) and a willingness to learn new software.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to fifty pounds regularly, respond quickly to sounds, navigate uneven terrain or confined spaces, and wear personal protective equipment as needed.
