Role Responsibilities:
As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will:
- Conduct patient assessments, including evaluating breath sounds and airway integrity.
- Perform diagnostic tests to determine the need for respiratory interventions.
- Administer various respiratory therapies, including oxygen and aerosol treatments.
- Assist in the placement of artificial airways and manage mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient responses to therapies and intervene as necessary.
- Provide support during emergency situations to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- An Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- BCLS certification within 30 days of employment.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within 60 days of employment.
