Orthodontist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthodontist to join our dental practice at Cloud Dentistry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality orthodontic care and excellent patient service.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat dental irregularities in patients
  • Create treatment plans to address patients' orthodontic needs
  • Install braces, retainers, and other dental appliances
  • Monitor patient progress and make adjustments as necessary
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of an orthodontic residency program
  • State licensure to practice orthodontics
  • Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles
  • Proficiency in CAD software for orthodontic treatment planning
  • Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations
  • Experience with dental fabrication techniques
  • Pediatric orthodontic experience is a plus
  • Ability to take vital signs and adhere to aseptic techniques in a dental clinic setting
  • Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for orthodontic evaluation
