About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join our Healthcare Practice Group in Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive project delivery experience and driving the advancement of technical delivery within the practice and on projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the project delivery process for mid-to-large scale domestic and international projects.
  • Collaborate with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations.
  • Lead an architectural project delivery team.
  • Participate in building and site design activities, including analysis, planning, design, and technical development.
  • Manage key clients and take an active role in developing and maintaining key client relationships.
  • Manage construction document development, including detailing, quality control, and overseeing drawing support staff.
  • Lead management and development of project specifications and/or coordination and management of specification writer.
  • Produce construction documents.
  • Manage subconsultants through the project delivery phases and coordinate the work thereof.
  • Evaluate code compliance.
  • Facilitate project scheduling and staffing.
  • Attend coordination and construction meetings and prepare field reports.
  • Facilitate construction observation, answer RFI's, and prepare change bulletins.
  • Direct issue resolution and enhance project quality in reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development by establishing confidence with clients.
  • Participate in collaborative discussions with other local leaders specific to team health/dynamics, staffing, opportunities for growth, target clients, and overall strategic pursuits.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of technical delivery standards, practices, and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture at an accredited university.
  • 5-8 years of architecture healthcare experience and knowledge of guidelines for the design and construction of healthcare facilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent architecture healthcare experience with Florida's Department of Health Care Access and Information (HCAI).
  • Professional registration in the State of Florida.
  • Proficient with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of sustainable principles and LEED accreditation.
