About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Coach to join our team at Eckerd Connects. As a Career Coach, you will play a critical role in helping individuals achieve their career goals and improve their employability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist program Career Coaches in reaching established goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement outreach and recruitment strategies to engage with the community and attract participants.
  • Conduct assessments and eligibility determinations for participants, ensuring they meet project plan requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to data-management procedures.
  • Deliver skills training and education in software applications, work readiness skills, and basic remedial skills.
  • Develop and deliver program curriculum and objectives in a classroom or simulated workplace environment.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with employers and community organizations to market the program and enhance participant success.
  • Identify and recruit target populations, ensuring a diverse and engaged participant base.
  • Manage data and paperwork efficiently, meeting program requirements.
Requirements
  • Related Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferred).
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience, particularly with the targeted population.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications or online database tracking systems.
  • Ability to manage a large participant caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to meet Eckerd's Auto Insurance requirements.
