Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and document appropriately into patient records.
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medication and assist the physician/cardiologist as ordered and within scope of practice during procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years' experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
  • Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), Pushing, Pulling, Bending.
