Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through the nursing process.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel, and maintain standards of professional nursing.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Critical care background is an asset.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of current experience in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Compact license in Kentucky or Massachusetts.
  • 36/48 schedule.
  • Bi-weekly orientation.
