We are seeking a highly motivated Inventory Planner to join our team at Michael Foods, Inc. in Yuma, Arizona. As a critical member of our production team, you will be responsible for developing daily production schedules to meet customer and distribution center demands while ensuring overall departmental inventory objectives are met.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Scheduling, Sourcing, and/or Purchasing, with proficiency in client-server enterprise resource planning systems (SAP). You will also possess strong planning and analysis skills, a results-oriented approach, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

This position has the responsibility to always comply with Safety work rules as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures, and activities related to Food Safety & Quality are followed, and complied with uniformly, to reduce product and process variability.

Responsibilities
  • Develops, publishes, and maintains the master production schedule, balancing inventory, resources, and capacity.
  • Facilitates teams, training, and functional interaction meetings for direction, decision making, information sharing, and consensus building.
  • Participates in daily production meetings and advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Scheduling, Sourcing, and/or Purchasing.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
